Fareed Sheik, CPA, CA, LPA
Managing Partner

Fareed Sheik is seasoned accounting professional with over 25 years of experience in tax, accounting and audit lines of practice. He has worked with large accounting firms like Ernst & Young and Deloitte. Fareed Sheik is Chartered Accountant from Canada, US and India. Fareed’s area of specialization is internal controls, taxation and client management. Fareed has been leading and directing a team of dedicated and qualified professionals at Fareed Sheik LLP for the past many years to deliver excellent client service. Fareed enjoys outdoor activities like camping, swimming and playing soccer.

Rumina Ratansi, CHRL, CCA, CCL
HR Practice Lead

Rumina is the founder and managing partner of Leadership Empire, a boutique HR Consultation and Business Leadership Coaching organization. She is a seasoned Executive and Human Resources veteran with 25+ years of industry experience ranging in public, private and not for profit sectors, along with start-up initiatives.

Mudassar Bajwa, CPA, CA, LPA, CPA (USA)
Partner

Mudassar is CPA, CA and a Licensed Public Accountant (LPA). He also holds US CPA license. He has completed CPA Canada’s three-year In-Depth Tax Program. Mudassar was previously a partner in public accounting CPA firm in Greater Toronto Area. Mudassar graduated from York University with a degree in accounting. His areas of practice include corporate tax planning, assurance, financial reporting, and cross-border taxes. Mudassar also consults with companies in Fintech sector.

Sajjad Fazal, CPA, CA, LPA
Partner
Sajjad is a CPA, CA and Licensed Public Accountant – Canada. Sajjad is also fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants – UK (FCCA) and associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ACA). Sajjad has vast experience of audit and review of medium to large sized entities, including private, publicly listed and not-for-profit entities. Sajjad was previously associated with (Big-4) KPMG – Canada, and (Big-4) Deloitte internationally. Sajjad has experience of auditing healthcare logistics, education, and manufacturing and travel industries.
Sudha Narasimhan
Manager - Accounting and Bookkeeping Services

Sudha joined the firm in 2017. 

With a Masters degree in Mathematics, Sudha is a results-orientated accounting personnel with broad experience in a deadline-driven environment. 

Strong accounting skills, proficient in direct and indirect taxes.

Shah Qazi
Manager - Accounting and Bookkeeping Services

Shah Qazi is with the firm since 2015. He is a diversified accounting professional with over 10 years of experience in Audit, Bookkeeping and Taxation. He has done Bcom and Mcom from the University of Meerut (India) and pursuing a CPA. He holds the Accounting Technician Certificate from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Shah Qazi has strong analytical and communication skills. He is motivated, team player, organized, detailed oriented and proficient in working independently.

Sidhra Fareed
Payroll Services Coordinator

Sidhra Fareed graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting. She is currently pursuing Payroll compliance practitioner (PCP) course from McMaster University. She is currently working as a payroll and billing assistant at the firm. Her interest includes bookkeeping and payroll. Sidhra is a dedicated, organized, and hard-working team player.

Abdul Rahim is a seasoned Business Development Manager with 20+ years in sales and customer relations across the UAE, Qatar, and Oman. He excels in fostering relationships, problem-solving, and diplomacy, leading to loyal clientele. Abdul holds an MBA and an Advanced Diploma in Sales and Marketing. His interests include sports and travel.

Abdulla Rahil
Payroll and Billing Administrator

Abdulla Rahil, working as Payroll / Billing Administrator, his qualifications include Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) from Canadian Payroll Association and MBA specialized in Accounting & Finance from University of Madras, India. 

His experiences include but not limited to Canadian Payroll System, Book Keeping and Preparation & Compilation of Financial Statements.

Bushra Fathima
Staff Accountant

Bushra Fathima is a graduate of Bachelor of Commerce with honors from York University. She is currently pursuing CPA designation from CPA Ontario. She is involved in many not for profit organization and has been a treasurer for Muslim Students Association of York University for 2 years. 

Amreen Fathima
Staff Accountant

Amreen is a passionate accounting student and staff accountant.  She has completed a Masters in Finance & HR and is currently studying project management.  As a staff accountant, Amreen helps manage bookkeeping tasks, data entry and financial reporting for Fareed Sheik LLP.  She looks forward to building upon her skills and knowledge to progress in her profession and one day become a vital asset to the firm.

Asma Sheerin
Client Compliance Coordinator

Asma Sheerin has completed her Bachelors degree in English Literature and currently pursuing her Masters in English literature. 

At Fareed Sheik LLP, Asma is responsible for all compliance related matters for clients like filing annual returns with ministry and Federal Government. 

She also maintains client records and data base to ensure they are in compliance.

Moncef Baalouche
Associate - Assurance Services

Moncef is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified General Accountant (CPA, CGA) from CPA Ontario and holds a University degree (B.A) in Management Accounting.  Moncef speaks French, English, and Arabic, serving clients in all 3 languages.  Moncef has over 15 years of experience in the accounting sector working in a great variety of industries including hospitality, health care and professional corporations. He has worked with companies ranging from small to large. He is comfortable providing tax, year-end financials, and controller services.

Syed Waris Ali
Accountant - Corporate Services

Syed Ali Waris is a Graduate in Commerce and has a certification in finance and accounting essentials. 

Waris has 10+ years experience in finance and accounting for multiple clients across Europe and India.

At Fareed Sheik LLP he handles with dedication Corporate client accounts with their monthly and quarterly financial reporting.  

Syed Omar Naser
Staff Accountant

With over 4 years of experience at Amazon serving as a German Language Expert, Syed Omar Naser has handled a wide range of accounting and finance responsibilities related to procurement, sourcing, invoicing, and payments for the company’s vendors and suppliers in German marketplaces.

He is currently working as a Staff Accountant. He enjoys playing football, volleyball and exploring new places in his free time.

Shreeja Warrier
Manager - Assurance Services

A qualified Chartered Accountant with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, Shreeja is proficient in the field of Auditing & Assurance, Taxation and Accountancy. Shreeja has been associated with Ernst & Young where she got an opportunity to manage & lead engagements for clients in healthcare, life science and the manufacturing industry. Shreeja also has knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and various auditing procedures.

Her interests include reading novels, singing, and painting. 

Thasweeha Syed
Admin Assistant

Thasweeha, an Admin Assistant with a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and Salesforce certification, will manage day-to-day operations and provide comprehensive support to the executive. Her responsibilities encompass processing payments, handling correspondence, attending calls, and assisting with document preparation. Additionally, she’ll serve as a liaison, ensuring effective communication and timely task management.
